Shots rang out on the 1700 block of West Olney Avenue around 8:45 p.m., PPD said. Officers responded to find the victim with a single gunshot wound to the "lower right stomach."
He was taken to Einstein Hospital and pronounced dead just after 9 p.m., according to police.
No arrests have been made and no weapons were recovered as of Thursday morning, April 4, authorities said. The shooting remains under investigation.
